ZnanyLekarz: reviews and profiles of doctors and dentists in Poland
NetClearer prepares and files requests for Polish doctors, dentists and therapists on ZnanyLekarz: reports of reviews that appear false or insulting, and GDPR requests about a profile created without consent. We cite the platform’s moderation rules and Polish case law. €20 incl. VAT per review. ZnanyLekarz decides, and courts disagree on profiles.

Poland’s largest patient–doctor platform
ZnanyLekarz, part of the Docplanner group, calls itself the largest patient–doctor platform in Poland and says it receives a new review every minute (ZnanyLekarz blog). Many doctors have a profile they never asked for, built from public registers. Some see their rating drop after one conflict, or find anonymous comments that accuse them of things that never happened. Threads such as “ZnanyLekarz to ściema” on Wykop show how heated the topic is.
Reviews: the notice-and-block rule
ZnanyLekarz publishes moderation rules and says suspicious reviews can be taken down. Polish courts add a strong point: on 20 March 2025 the Warsaw Court of Appeal held, in a final judgment, that once notified, the platform must prove a comment true or block it, and awarded 10,000 PLN to a doctor (Wirtualnemedia). Courts also say a doctor “must count on being rated, also harshly” (mp.pl).
So we report reviews that state false facts, insult, or come from people who were not patients, and we leave honest opinions alone. Our notice is precise: which sentence, why it seems untrue, what the platform should check.
Profiles: a GDPR question, not a promise
In case III OSK 1052/21, the Supreme Administrative Court (NSA) said that business activity alone is not a legal basis for a portal to process a doctor’s data, and a regional court later upheld an order of the data protection authority (UODO) to delete a dentist’s data; that ruling was not final when reported (Judykatura). ZnanyLekarz may still argue a legitimate interest. We can prepare and file an erasure request under GDPR art. 17 and 21 with these rulings. We cannot promise that the profile disappears.
If the platform refuses, you can complain to UODO. We prepare the complaint; you sign and send it. Be aware that UODO can be slow: one complaint about this platform, filed in 2014, was still open 8 years later (prawo.pl). NetClearer is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
How we work and what it costs
- You send the links to the reviews or the profile, and your licence number if the profile is about you.
- You sign a mandate and send ID. We file the notices and, if you choose, the GDPR request, the same day you order.
- We follow up and send you each answer; for a refusal we tell you the options, including the UODO complaint.
Review requests: €20 incl. VAT each, €54 incl. VAT for 3. A GDPR request about a profile counts as one link: €29 incl. VAT. Polish sellers who charge per review removed ask 199 to 500 PLN net. No refund once your request has been filed. Payment by card or BLIK where Stripe offers it.
Frequently asked questions
Can you get my ZnanyLekarz profile deleted?
We can file a well-argued GDPR erasure request using the NSA ruling III OSK 1052/21. We cannot promise the outcome: ZnanyLekarz may claim a legitimate interest, and the final word may come from UODO or a court. We tell you this before you order.
A patient wrote that I made a mistake I did not make. Can it be reported?
Yes, a statement of false facts is different from an opinion. Since the Warsaw Court of Appeal ruling of March 2025, a notified platform should verify such a comment or block it. We write a precise notice that respects medical secrecy and does not reveal anything about the patient.
Do you also handle my Google profile?
Yes. Many Polish practices get more reviews on Google than on ZnanyLekarz. The same price applies, €20 incl. VAT per review request. Google applies its own Maps content policy, which we cite in each report. One case can cover both platforms.
Can I pay in złoty?
Our prices are set in euros incl. VAT. When the Stripe payment page shows local currency, you can see and pay the amount in złoty, and Stripe adds a small exchange fee. The payment page shows the methods available to you.
