Ukraine: register copies, Google results and your data
Ukraine’s company register makes a sole trader’s name, date of birth and home address public, and private sites copy it under your name. NetClearer sends reasoned demands under Ukrainian data protection law to those sites, files requests with Google under its own rules, and prepares a complaint to the Ombudsman if a site refuses. €29 incl. VAT per link.

Ukraine in figures
Google handles about 91% of searches in Ukraine (90.67% in September 2026, StatCounter). Ukraine had 35.3 million internet users at the end of 2025 (DataReportal). 4.43 million people who fled Ukraine lived under temporary protection in the EU at the end of August 2026 (Eurostat).
Українська версія: NetClearer also has a Ukrainian version written for Ukraine, with the same services, the same prices and the same order links.
Ukraine is not in the EU: what changes
The GDPR is not Ukrainian law. In Ukraine, your data is protected by the Law on Personal Data Protection, No. 2297-VI (text). Its article 8 lets you send any site a reasoned demand to stop processing your data, or to change or destroy data that is processed unlawfully or is inaccurate. The supervisory authority is the Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights, the Ombudsman (ombudsman.gov.ua).
Ukrainian law has no general right to be forgotten yet. A draft new Civil Code (No. 15150) passed its first reading on 28 April 2026; it is a draft, not law. Google’s European delisting form rests on European data protection law, and Google checks whether you have a link to a European country, such as residence. If you live in the EU, you may be able to use it; from Ukraine, Google may not accept it. Google’s worldwide rules still apply: contact details, ID numbers, doxxing and intimate images can be reported from any country.
Register copies
The Unified State Register of legal entities and sole traders (ЄДР) is open by law, except tax numbers and passport data. For a sole trader (ФОП) it shows the name, date of birth and home address; for founders and beneficial owners, their place of residence (Law No. 755-IV, articles 9 and 11). Sites such as Opendatabot, YouControl, Clarity Project and VKURSI republish this data in personal dossiers.
The register itself keeps what the law requires, so we do not file against it. We target the copies: data that is outdated after you changed it in the register, or a closed business still shown as active, is inaccurate data under article 8. We have not verified each copy site’s own removal route; we check it when you order.
How we work
- You give us your name, the businesses or roles concerned and the data that should go. We list the sites and the Google results that show it.
- You sign a mandate and send ID. The case opens the same day you order.
- We send each site a reasoned demand under article 8 of Law No. 2297-VI, asking it to update, destroy or stop processing the data. The Ombudsman’s guidance says such a demand is examined within 10 days.
- We report pages that show your contact details or ID data to Google under its worldwide policy, or file a legal removal request citing Ukrainian law where it applies.
- If a site refuses or does not answer, we prepare a complaint to the Ombudsman. You sign and send it: the Ombudsman does not examine unsigned complaints.

Other Ukrainian cases
- Fake reviews on your business’s Google profile: Google reviews.
- False information about you on a website: Ukrainian law gives a right to a refutation (Civil Code, article 277), and online media must answer a refutation request within 5 working days (Law on Media, article 43, request within 20 days of publication).
- Posts on social networks: platforms.
Limits and price
We have not verified the opt-out routes of every Ukrainian database; we check them when you order. Court cases are for an advocate: in Ukraine, representing another person in court is, as a rule, reserved to advocates (Constitution, article 131-2). NetClearer is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
€29 incl. VAT per link, €69 incl. VAT for 3, €199 incl. VAT for 10; the Stripe payment page opens in English. Card payments abroad from Ukrainian cards may be subject to limits set by the National Bank of Ukraine: check with your bank. No refund once your request has been filed.
Frequently asked questions
Can Opendatabot or YouControl keep my old address?
They may republish what the register shows today, because that data is public by law. Data that is outdated, wrong or no longer in the register is harder to justify. We send a reasoned demand to update or destroy it, and the Ombudsman can examine the answer if you complain.
Does the GDPR protect me if I live in Ukraine?
Not in general: Ukraine is outside the EU. Ukrainian Law No. 2297-VI protects you instead. The GDPR still binds sites established in the EU, and it protects people who live in the EU, including the 4.43 million people from Ukraine under temporary protection. We use the rule that fits your situation.
How long does a Ukrainian site have to answer?
The Ombudsman’s guidance says a demand objecting to processing, or asking to change or destroy data, is examined within 10 days. After a change or deletion, the law gives the site 10 working days to tell you. We track these dates and send a reminder; silence can support a complaint to the Ombudsman.
Can I order in Ukrainian?
Yes. This site has a Ukrainian version, also reachable from the language menu, and you can write to us in Ukrainian or English. Prices, steps and terms are the same in both versions. The Stripe payment page opens in English, because Stripe does not offer Ukrainian.
