X (Twitter): private details, fake accounts and false claims
NetClearer reports posts and accounts on X that target you: your address or phone number posted without consent, accounts that pretend to be you, intimate media, threats, and threads that state false facts. We use X’s private information and impersonation rules and EU notices under the Digital Services Act. €29 incl. VAT per link. X decides.

X in the Netherlands and Spain
X reaches 48.7% of the population in the Netherlands, far more than in most of Europe, and about 20% in Spain and Sweden in DataReportal’s 2026 ad audience figures (DataReportal Netherlands). Posts on X are public by default and often appear in Google results for a name. A single angry thread about a local business owner, a teacher or a civil servant can be quoted and reposted for weeks.
What X’s rules cover
- Private information: home address, phone number, ID documents, private email, posted without consent (often called doxxing).
- Non-consensual nudity: intimate photos or videos shared without consent. Links only; never send us the media.
- Impersonation: accounts that pretend to be you in a misleading way. Parody accounts that say so may stay.
- Abuse, harassment and threats.
- Illegal content in the EU: through X’s DSA notice form, for content that appears to break EU or national law.
Opinions, criticism and political speech usually stay on X, even when harsh. For a post that states false facts about you, we combine the DSA notice with a Google delisting request based on the EU Court’s 2022 ruling on inaccurate content: see false results.
How we work on X
- You send the links to each post or account. Copy them from the share menu; a post may be deleted later, so keep a screenshot too.
- You sign a mandate and send ID, needed for impersonation and private-information reports.
- We file through X’s help forms and its DSA form, the same day you order.
- We follow the answers and use the appeal or DSA internal complaint after a refusal.
- We ask Google to delist posts that appear in searches for your name.
X decides and sets its own pace. NetClearer is not a law firm and does not give legal advice; for court action against an author, consult a lawyer.
Price
€29 incl. VAT per post or account, €69 incl. VAT for 3. A long thread with many replies counts as one link per post we report. No refund once your request has been filed.
Frequently asked questions
Someone posted my home address on X. What is fastest?
A private information report, filed by you or under your mandate with your ID. Posting a private person’s home address without consent is one of the clearest breaches of X’s rules. Send us the link today; if you feel unsafe, contact the police as well.
The account is anonymous. Can you find out who runs it?
No. X does not reveal account data to private people on request. A court or the police can ask for it. We work on the posts themselves and on Google results, which is usually what matters most to you. For threats, contact the police.
Will a deleted post stay on Google?
Usually not for long. When a post is deleted, Google drops it on its next visit. If it stays, we can ask Google to refresh the result. Copies on other sites, such as screenshots on forums, need separate requests. We list those copies for you.
Is a parody account allowed?
X allows parody accounts that clearly say they are parody and do not mislead people. If an account copies your name and photo without such a label, or uses parody as a cover to harass you, an impersonation or harassment report can work.
